About KWF

KWF is a Missouri-based nonprofit established in 2004 to support St. Charles women in their fight against breast cancer. The Site exists to share information about our mission, events, and community partners and to facilitate sponsor and donor engagement.

Permitted Use

You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes consistent with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Site in any way that violates applicable law.
• Attempt to interfere with the Site's normal operation, security, or availability.
• Use automated means to scrape, harvest, or copy substantial portions of the Site.
• Impersonate KWF, its volunteers, or its partners.
• Submit content through the contact form that is unlawful, harassing, or infringing.

Donations

Donations are processed by Stripe. KWF is a tax-exempt charitable organization; donations may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by U.S. law. Please consult your tax advisor for guidance specific to your situation. KWF will provide an acknowledgment of your donation as required.

By making a donation, you agree to Stripe's terms and privacy policy in addition to ours. All sales of fundraiser tickets (including Music Bingo and similar events) are final unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.

Race Registration

Registration for our annual Karen for a Kause 5K, 1-mile run/walk, and Mad Dash is handled by RaceRoster. By registering, you agree to RaceRoster's terms and privacy policy in addition to ours. Refund and transfer policies for race entries are governed by the policies posted on RaceRoster at the time of registration.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, photographs, logos, and graphics — is owned by KWF or used with permission, unless otherwise indicated. The KWF name and logo are property of the Karen Weidinger Foundation. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute Site content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent. Sponsor and partner logos are property of their respective owners and used here with permission for the limited purpose of recognition.

Third-Party Links

The Site contains links to third-party websites (sponsors, partners, payment processors, etc.). KWF does not control and is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those websites. Visiting a third-party site from the Site is at your own risk.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. KWF does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Information on the Site is provided for general informational purposes and is not medical advice; always consult a qualified healthcare provider for personal medical guidance.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KWF and its volunteers, directors, and community partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in St. Charles County, Missouri.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
